Tom is a foundation member of the revitalised PSAQ (1994), and became a member of its Committee of Management in 1996.

A still-practising Auctioneer and licensed Real Estate Agent, Tom brings extensive real estate industry experience to the association.  He has managed real estate agencies in Queensland and an accredited trainer in real estate agency practice, and also worked as marketing and sales manager of the Sunshine Coast TAFE.

In 1996/1997, Tom was heavily involved in the implementation of traineeship programs for Queensland's real estate industry.

As a field officer, Tom has more recently utilised his extensive knowledge and skills in liaising with employees, employers and employer groups, providing up to date information on the ever-changing industrial climate within the real estate industry.

As a members’ advocate, Tom has successfully represented many salespeople and property managers at mediation/arbitration.

Whilst continuing in an advocacy role, Tom has now also "assumed the mantle" of National Field Services Manager.
